COPPA Compliance Policy

AllGiggs, Inc. ("AllGiggs") is committed to protecting the privacy of children. This COPPA Compliance Policy describes how we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and the FTC's COPPA Rule (16 CFR Part 312) for all users under the age of 13 ("child" or "children").

2. Verifiable Parental Consent

2.1 AllGiggs requires verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from a child under 13. A parent or legal guardian must create their own AllGiggs account and link it to the child's account using a unique invite code.

2.2 The parent must affirmatively consent to the collection and use of the child's data by checking the COPPA consent box during the parent onboarding process.

2.3 No child under 13 can apply for gigs, send messages, or participate in any marketplace activity until a parent has completed the verification and consent process.

3. Information Collected from Children

We collect the minimum information necessary:

We do not collect from children: Social Security numbers, government IDs, school information, home addresses (displayed at neighborhood level only), phone numbers of the child (parent phone is used for confirmations), or any biometric data.

5.1 Children's personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties.

5.2 Limited profile information (first name, age range, skills, rating, badges) is visible to authenticated customers on the Platform for the sole purpose of marketplace functionality.

5.3 Children's date of birth, parent contact information, financial information, and exact location are never disclosed to other users.

5.4 We share data with Stripe (for payment processing) and Firebase (for app infrastructure) under strict data processing agreements.

Age is calculated from the child's date of birth and cannot be manually overridden.

8. Data Security for Children's Information

We apply enhanced security measures to children's data, including: Firestore Security Rules restricting access to the child's own account and their linked parent; encryption in transit and at rest; no permanent storage of children's location data; and parent-visible message monitoring for all conversations involving minors.

9. Data Retention

Children's personal information is retained only as long as the account is active. Upon parent-initiated deletion or consent revocation, all personal information is deleted within 30 days, with the exception of anonymized transaction records retained for legal and financial compliance purposes.

10. Mandatory Reporting

AllGiggs is a mandated reporter under California Penal Code § 11165.7. If AllGiggs personnel become aware of suspected child abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or exploitation, AllGiggs shall report such conduct to local law enforcement or the National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-4-A-CHILD) without delay.

11. Non-Employee Status

Children using AllGiggs are independent participants, not employees. AllGiggs does not provide workers' compensation, health insurance, or any employee benefits. Parents are solely responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage for their child's gig activities.

12. Changes to This Policy

We will notify parents via email of any material changes to this COPPA Compliance Policy at least 30 days before changes take effect. Material amendments shall not take effect without renewed parental consent. Continued use of the child's account after providing renewed consent constitutes acceptance.
